GRÜNER VELTLINER FEDERSPIEL®“WEISSENKIRCHEN” DAC

This wine is from very small vineyards  in Weissenkirchen. It is one of our new classics. This wine is a little bit lighter than the other Federspiel wines. The delicate mineral tone adds a playfull touch. It is very fruity, smooth and well balanced with an ending of melon and floral finish with a hint of pepper.  Very moreish.

The selective harvest took place at the beginning of October.

Soil type: The grapes for the Weissenkirchen come from the sandy soils of our vineyards by the river.

Wine production: The grapes are crushed and after the pressing allowed to ferment with a fine yeast. After a three month period the wine is filtered and bottled at the beginning of Febuary.

A classic! Impressively fruity.
