GRÜNER VELTLINER SMARAGD “VORDER SEIBER”

Our newest wine comes from 46 year old Vorder Seiber vineyard. This is a crisp, mature and full bodied wine.

It has a lively elegant mineral touch on the palate. The wine is bright and subtle with glace of pears and papaya; the finish has a hint of lemon and pomelo.

The grapes were harvested by hand during the last week of October.

Soil type: weathered soil with a hugh amount if silicate is typical of this vineyard. Tha grapes grow on the northwest flank of the Vorder Seiber
